Delivery Information
Minimum order quantities, production lead times, shipping methods, packing and the documents you receive — everything you need to plan an order with China Top Cable.
1. Minimum Order Quantity
Standard catalogue items: from 100 pcs per model.
Custom / OEM items: from 500 pcs per model, depending on cable construction and connector type.
Trial orders below MOQ can be discussed — please ask.
2. Lead Time
| Stage | Typical time |
|---|---|
| Quotation | Within 24 hours (working days) |
| Sample / pre-production | 5–7 working days |
| Mass production | 20–25 working days after deposit & sample approval |
| Express shipping | 3–7 days, door to door |
| Sea freight (FCL) | 18–35 days, depending on destination |
Lead times start from the later of deposit receipt and approval of artwork or sample. They exclude Chinese public holidays and the Lunar New Year period (the factory typically closes for about 2 weeks around February).
3. Shipping Methods
- Express courier (DHL / FedEx / UPS / TNT) — samples and small orders, door to door with tracking.
- Air freight — roughly 45–300 kg; faster than sea.
- Sea freight — FCL (20′ / 40’HQ) and LCL; most economical for large orders.
- Rail (China–Europe) — available on request for European destinations.
4. Incoterms
We quote EXW, FOB Shenzhen / Guangzhou, CIF, CFR, DAP and DDP. Our default quotation is FOB Shenzhen. Please tell us your preferred term and destination port at the inquiry stage so we can quote accurately.
5. Packing
Packing is confirmed together with your quotation. Our standard options are:
- Standard — poly bag + carton: each cable in an individual poly bag (PE bag), packed into an export carton. The carton is marked with model, quantity and carton number, and can carry your own shipping marks or barcode labels.
- Bulk pack: cables loose-packed in the master carton with no individual poly bags — the most economical option, and the usual choice for importers and distributors who run their own retail or kitting line. Please state “bulk pack” in your enquiry so that we quote it from the start.
- Custom retail packing: colour box, blister, header card, hang tag or printed carton — subject to MOQ and artwork charges.
- Heavy or fragile items: wooden case or pallet; fumigation certificate provided where required.
Carton size, gross weight and CBM per carton are confirmed before shipment, together with the packing list.
6. Documents
We provide commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading / airway bill. On request and at cost: certificate of origin (CO / Form A / Form E), CE / RoHS / REACH test reports, and third-party inspection certificates.
7. Duties, Taxes and Customs
Unless DDP is agreed, import duties, VAT/GST and customs clearance charges in the destination country are for the buyer’s account. We will assist with documentation.
Please confirm your EORI / tax ID and any special labelling requirements (e.g. UKCA, WEEE) before production starts.
8. Receipt and Inspection
Please inspect the goods on arrival. Visible shortage or damage must be reported within 15 days of receipt, with photographs of the cartons and shipping marks. Hidden defects must be reported within 30 days of discovery. Please keep the original packaging until the claim is resolved.
9. Insurance
By default, goods travel at the buyer’s risk after the agreed Incoterm delivery point. We can arrange all-risk cargo insurance (typically 0.3%–0.5% of invoice value) on request — please ask before shipment.
10. Tracking
Tracking numbers or B/L copies are sent by email once the goods leave our factory or the forwarder’s warehouse. For urgent shipments, contact [email protected].
Send us your destination port, preferred Incoterm and target quantity — we will come back with a landed-cost quotation within 24 hours.
