- Description
A balanced interconnect cable for linking equipment that uses a 3-pin XLR socket to equipment with a 6.35 mm (1/4″) TRS jack — mixers to active speakers, audio interfaces to monitors, wireless microphone receivers to a desk.
The balanced construction uses impedance-balanced lines, which rejects electromagnetic and radio-frequency noise and lets you run longer distances before hum becomes a problem. Oxygen-free copper conductors with a spiral-wound copper braid shield and an inner foil layer keep the signal clean; nickel-plated connectors handle being plugged and unplugged every night.
