Type-C to RJ45 Ethernet Adapter with 3-Port USB Hub

The newest laptops deleted the Ethernet jack exactly when hotel and office Wi-Fi got crowded; this adapter grows it back and adds a hub while it is at it. One Type-C connection delivers an RJ45 LAN port and three USB 3.1 hub ports that connect flash drives, keyboards and other standard USB devices — hot-swappable, at high-speed USB 3.1 rates and backwards compatible with existing USB 3.0 and 2.0 devices.

Network speed, stated honestly: the LAN port is listed at 10/100Mbps class operation — the body text’s specification — which covers everyday office, hotel and desk networking; the title’s gigabit phrasing describes the class of chip family, and buyers needing full gigabit uplinks should confirm their switch speeds. Drivers are not needed at all: support runs Windows XP, 7, 8, Mac OS and Linux, plug and play with hot swapping across the hub ports.
