An HDMI male to DVI male cable for the common mismatch between a modern source and an older display: a PC, console or set-top box with HDMI out feeding a DVI monitor, projector or DVI-equipped TV. All four common DVI pin builds are available — 18+1 and 24+1 for digital-only DVI-D, and 18+5 and 24+5 for DVI-I, which also passes an analogue signal.
Which one you need depends on the socket on the display and whether the resolution requires single-link or dual-link. Matching the pin count is what makes the difference between a clean picture and one with missing colours, so it is worth checking before ordering — send us a photo of the port and we will identify it.

FAQ
Do I need 18+1 or 24+1?
For 1080p, 18+1 single-link DVI-D is normally enough. 24+1 dual-link matters for very high resolutions — tell us what you are driving and we will confirm.
Where does the sound come from?
Not from this cable. DVI carries video only, so use a separate audio lead.
