The electrical build is where patches earn their keep: ultra-pure oxygen-free copper conductors in 22 AWG for low capacitance and pure tone, with an oxygen-free copper spiral shield at 99% coverage keeping radio hash and digital glare out of a high-impedance instrument signal. The low-capacitance design matters most on short runs feeding fuzz and wah pedals, where a bad patch audibly dulls the attack.
