A USB 3.1 Type-C male to USB 3.0 A female cable in OTG configuration: the Type-C end goes into a thin laptop, tablet or phone, and the A socket takes a flash drive, external hard drive, mouse or keyboard. It is the difference between a Type-C machine that cannot read your old USB stick and one that can.
The reversible Type-C plug goes in either way up, the cable is wired for SuperSpeed 3.1 rates and is backward compatible with USB 3.0 and 2.0 peripherals, and it needs no driver — plug in and the device appears. It is supplied in black, in the length you order.

Will it work on any Type-C device?
The device must support USB host mode over Type-C. Most recent Android phones, tablets and laptops do.
Does it charge the host at the same time?
It carries data and OTG; simultaneous charging needs a powered OTG adapter.
