- Description
The premium version of our mini HDMI range: a type C male to type A male cable with 24K gold plated contacts and a metal-shell plug at the small end. It connects the mini HDMI output on a DSLR, mirrorless camera, camcorder, tablet or single-board computer to a full-size HDMI input on a monitor, TV or capture card.
Where the moulded version is chosen for cost, this one is chosen for rigs: an on-camera monitor that is plugged and unplugged between shots, a gimbal build where the cable is stressed, or a broadcast setup where a loose connector costs a take. The gold plating resists corrosion over repeated cycles and the metal shell takes the side load off the socket.
