OBD2 16-Pin Male Wiring Plug Connector

This is the OBD2 16-pin male plug used to build or repair custom diagnostic cables, breakouts and adapter leads. It is a connector and nothing more: no electronics, no software, no scanning function. What you get is a housing with well-made pins, so the cable you build connects solidly to a vehicle’s diagnostic socket hundreds of times without wobbling.

The pins are spring steel, which is what keeps contact force consistent over hundreds of mating cycles instead of going slack after a season of workshop abuse. The housing is made from OEM-grade tooling, so the socket geometry locks into the vehicle port every time. All 16 pin positions meet vehicle communication standards, the connector and cable materials comply with RoHS, and the working range is -30 to 84 °C for engine-bay and cab use.
