USB 3.0 to SATA 22-Pin Adapter Cable for 2.5-inch SSD/HDD

An adapter for 2.5-inch and 1.8-inch SATA drives and SSDs, built to keep a demanding disk stable. Standard single-port adapters supply only about 0.5A, so a high-draw drive can slow down or drop out; this one has a dual power interface for a total of 1.5A, which keeps transfer speeds steady on drives that need the current.

A smart chip handles the variety of 2.5-inch and SSD drives, and the one-piece moulded USB 3.0 housing is made to survive years of plugging in and out without a poor contact developing. It supports up to 2TB and USB 3.0 transfer rates to 5 Gbps.

Specifications

This model is for 2.5-inch and 1.8-inch drives only and does not work with 3.5-inch drives — for those, use the model with its own 12V supply. It is tested for 5V or 5V/3.3V SSDs and does not support devices that run on 3.3V alone, so confirm your drive’s power requirement. And a brand-new drive must be partitioned and formatted before use.
