SATA 7-Pin Signal Cable, Straight Connectors
$1.80 – $9.50 / pc · MOQ 500 pcs
A SATA 7-pin signal cable with straight connectors: thin and flexible for easy routing, 3 Gbps signal rate, self-releasing latches and hot-plug support.
- Description
A straight-connector SATA data cable for the everyday job of connecting a drive to a motherboard. It is used in desktop and mobile PCs, set-top boxes, entry servers and networked storage, and the thin, flexible serial cable is far easier to route behind a drive cage than the old wide ribbon.
The connector is the standard 7-pin SATA plug with an auto-releasing latch, and the cable carries the signal at 3 Gbps. Hot-plugging is supported, so drives can be swapped without shutting the machine down, within the limits the host allows.

This is the straight-connector build in a family that also includes right-angle versions. All of them share the same 3 Gbps signalling, so choose by the clearance around the drive and header rather than by performance — and if a straight plug will not fit, switch to the right-angle model.
Typical applications
- Connecting SATA drives in a desktop or server
- Routing behind a drive cage or cable channel
- Optical and removable drives in ATAPI devices

FAQ
Is this 6 Gbps or 3 Gbps?
This build is rated at 3 Gbps; for a 6 Gbps link ask us about the SATA 3.0 version.
Straight or right-angle?
This is the straight-connector build; a right-angle version is available if clearance is tight.
