Male-to-male HDMI to DVI cable that takes a digital video signal from a graphics card, laptop or set-top box into a DVI monitor or projector, in the pin layout you need.
- Description
This cable joins an HDMI output to a DVI input — the usual job of feeding an older DVI monitor or projector from a modern graphics card, laptop, set-top box or games console. Both ends are male, so it plugs straight in without a gender changer.
The DVI end is made in the 18+1 or 13+1 pin layout you specify, which decides whether the display is driven in single-link mode and which pins are present. It is a video-only cable: DVI does not carry audio, so sound has to travel on a separate lead.

No. DVI carries video only — run a separate audio cable from the source to the speakers or display.
