MHL Micro USB to HDMI Adapter for Samsung, 200mm

The adapter that puts a phone or tablet onto the big screen. The Micro USB (5-pin) plug goes into the mobile device, the HDMI female socket takes the TV or projector cable, and the mirrored picture arrives at up to 1080p with 7.1 digital audio on the same link.

It is built for the MHL generation of Android hardware — the Samsung Galaxy S II and Note, the Infuse, and MHL phones from HTC, LG, Asus, Sony, Lenovo and TCL — and it charges the phone while it mirrors, so a long film does not drain the battery.

Specifications

Two compatibility points. First, the phone must support MHL — it is a specific standard, not a general Micro USB video mode, so check your model before ordering. Second, MHL is the older mobile-video standard: phones from roughly 2015 onward largely replaced it with USB-C DisplayPort alt mode, which needs a different adapter. If your device is USB-C, choose a Type-C to HDMI model instead.
