HDMI to VGA Adapter Cable 1080P, Male to Female

An adapter for the machine that has HDMI out and a screen that has VGA in: a laptop, games console, set-top box or camera on one end, an older monitor, projector or TV on the other. The chipset converts the digital HDMI signal to analogue VGA, so displays that never had a digital input can still be used.

It is a passive-looking dongle that does real work: no software, no external power adapter, just plug and play. Output resolution reaches UXGA and 1080p, and the cable is double-shielded to keep the signal clean over the run.

Specifications

One thing to be plain about: this is a video-only converter. VGA cannot carry audio, and this model has no audio pigtail, so if the display needs sound you will need a separate audio path or a model with a 3.5mm output. For picture-only use — a second monitor, a data projector — it needs nothing else.
