ENET Ethernet (RJ45) to OBD2 Adapter for BMW E-SYS Coding
$11.00 / pc · MOQ 500 pcs
The BMW-coding bridge, lean version: ENET adapter shell with an RJ45 port, your own Ethernet cable, E-SYS/ICOM tools on the laptop. F-Series and late E-Series.
- Description
This is the ENET adapter for BMW diagnostics and coding: an Ethernet (RJ45, 8-pin) port on one side, an OBD2 connector on the other. Please use a standard (1-to-1) Ethernet cable of any length to connect to this adapter — the Ethernet cable is not included, which means you choose the reach that suits your bay.
Compatible with BMW cars that have Ethernet available on the OBD2 connector — to our knowledge, all F Series and late E Series models with the new navigation/iDrive generation. It works with E-SYS, ICOM-based and other ECU tools that speak the ENET scheme: coding, hidden-feature activation and diagnostic reads all run over the same link.
The adapter is passive wiring between RJ45 and the OBD2 shell — the laptop and its tool software provide the intelligence. That is also why the cable choice is yours: a plain 1:1 patch lead, any length, is the whole extra part.

FAQ
Which Ethernet cable do I need?
Any standard 1-to-1 (straight-through) patch cable. Length is your choice — 1 m at a desk, 5 m across the bay.
Does my E-Series BMW work?
Late E Series with the new navigation generation carried Ethernet on the OBD2 port; earlier E Series did not. Check your model against the compatibility list before ordering.
