HDMI to VGA Converter Cable, 1920×1200, No Audio

$11.00 – $21.00 / pc · MOQ 500 pcs

Converts an HDMI source to a VGA display at up to 1920×1200@60Hz, with an on-chip receiver, deep-color support and ESD protection. Video only, no audio.

SKU: CTC239 Categories: , Tags: , ,

This converter connects HDMI sources — notebooks, laptops, HD DVD and HD DV players that no longer carry a VGA port — to older projectors, displays, LCDs and TVs built around a VGA input. The conversion is active: an on-chip HDMI receiver with an equalizer handles the digital side, supporting 8, 10 and 12-bit deep color at up to a 2.25 GHz data rate.

Video output tops out at 1920×1200 at 60 Hz, which covers the working resolution of nearly every VGA projector and desktop monitor still in service. Two limits are stated plainly so nobody is surprised: there is no audio output — route sound separately from the source — and the unit draws its power from the HDMI connection, with an external-power option available for sources that run lean. ESD protection is rated at 8 kV and power consumption is 190 mA.

FAQ

Does it carry audio to my speakers?
No. VGA carries video only — take the audio line separately from the source device.

When do I need the external power option?
On sources whose HDMI port supplies limited current, typically thin laptops. Standard desktops and players run it from the port alone.
