FTDI USB to Serial Converter Cable, DB9 RS232

$2.00 – $7.00 / pc · MOQ 500 pcs

An FTDI-chipset USB to serial converter cable with DB9 RS232 output: port-powered, 300–460,800 baud, TX/RX LEDs, surge and static protection.

SKU: CTC212 Category: Tag:

A USB to RS232 converter in the classic format: a USB plug on one end, a serial interface on the other, driven by the FTDI chipset that most serial software expects. It is the dependable way to give a modern machine a real RS232 port, or to bring an old instrument, scale or controller back into service.

It is port-powered, so no external supply is needed, and it supports all the RS-232C signals — TX, RX, RTS, CTS, DTR, DSR, RI and GND — at rates from 300 baud to 460,800 baud. Data-direction auto-turnaround removes the need for flow control, and TX/RX LEDs show traffic at a glance.
