FIAT MultiECUScan Adapter Cable Set, Four Colours
$30.00 – $50.00 / pc · MOQ 500 pcs
Four colour-coded break-out leads for MultiECUScan: ABS, airbag, low-speed CAN and electric hood coverage on Fiat vehicles without soldering your own interface.
- Description
These are special break-out adaptor cables designed for use with the MultiECUScan software package, to offer additional systems coverage — Airbag, ABS and Power Steering among them — on vehicles where communications are required through different pins on the diagnostic connector. Rather than soldering jump wires inside your own interface cable (which would stop it working on other vehicles), each adaptor shifts the pins only while it is in the circuit, and pulls out when you return to standard OBD2 work.
The set is four colour-coded leads, each easy to identify at a glance in the tool bag:
Green lead — Adapter 1
Allows ABS and Power Steering diagnostics. Pin 7 on the diagnostic tool end is electrically connected to pins 1, 7, 9 and 12 on the car end.
Red lead — Adapter 2
Allows Airbag diagnostics. Pin 7 on the diagnostic tool end connects to pin 3 only on the car end.
Yellow lead — Adapter 3
Allows low-speed CAN diagnostics (Fiat 500 and similar). Pin 6 on the tool end connects to pin 1 on the car end; pin 14 on the tool end connects to pin 9 on the car end; pin 7 on the tool end connects to pin 12 on the car end. This lead meets the updated MultiECUScan specification for Adapter 3, with the pin 12 connection required for Xenon headlight coverage on CAN cars.
Purple lead — Adapter 4
Allows electric hood (electric power steering column) diagnostics. Pin 7 on the tool end connects to pins 7, 8, 11 and 13 on the car end.
What you need to use them
- MultiECUScan software (free or licensed version)
- ELM327 v1.3 or higher and/or KKL (VAG-COM style) interface cable
- A laptop or PC running Windows XP through 8, with USB port

Important, stated plainly: this bundle does NOT include any diagnostic interface cables — these are only the break-out adaptors. They are intended for use with the MultiECUScan software on supported Fiat group vehicles as listed on the MultiECUScan supported vehicles list. Use on other vehicles or with other software is not supported and may cause damage to your vehicle or equipment. Check the supported vehicles list on the MultiECUScan website for coverage details before ordering.
