WIFI ELM327 OBD2 Scanner With Power Switch for iPhone

The WIFI variant is the ELM327 for the Apple ecosystem: instead of Bluetooth, it creates a small 802.11a/b/g wireless network that iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Android and laptop software can all join — the adapter answers on IP 192.168.0.10, subnet 255.255.255.0, port 35000, at up to 50 ft line of sight. Protocol detection is automatic: it identifies and interprets the vehicle’s OBD2/EOBD protocol itself, including ISO 9141, CAN (ISO 11898/15765), KWP2000 (ISO 14230) and SAE J1939, with high-speed communication and a low-power sleep mode.

The built-in power switch is the practical differentiator: WIFI adapters stay paired for whole sessions, and being able to cut power without pulling the unit from the OBD2 port keeps the daily routine sane. Power consumption is 0.75 W, the housing is automotive-grade plastic rated −15 to +100 °C, and the body measures 2.75 × 1.25 × 1.2 inches. Software support is wide because the AT command set is fully documented — DTC reading and clearing, engine parameter monitoring, MPG meters, or your own tool if you write one.
