Slimline SATA 7+6 to USB 2.0 Adapter Cable, 0.5m

$3.60 – $4.00 / pc · MOQ 500 pcs

A SATA 7+6 (slimline) to USB 2.0 adapter cable at 0.5 m: plug a slim SATA drive into a computer’s USB port to read, copy or back up its contents.

SKU: CTC4893 Categories: , , Tags: ,

An adapter for the slim SATA drives — the 7+6 pin (13-pin) connector found on slimline optical drives and some compact drives. One end mates with the drive, the other is a USB 2.0 plug, so a drive that lives inside a machine can be read from any computer without opening the case.

At 0.5 m it reaches from a drive sitting on the bench to the USB port beside it. The USB 2.0 side delivers up to 480 Mbps, which is ample for backing up documents, photos and archived media from a drive that no longer boots.

Two notes. The 7+6 connector is the slimline variant, not the standard 22-pin SATA plug, so confirm your drive uses the slim connector before ordering. And a drive may need a power feed to spin up; if yours does, pair it with a powered adapter from the same range.

Typical applications

  • Recovering data from a slim optical or 2.5-inch drive
  • Backing up a drive pulled from a laptop or all-in-one
  • Bench testing without a full enclosure

FAQ

Only if your drive needs more current to spin up; many slim drives run from the USB supply.

What is the 7+6 connector?
It is the slimline SATA connector (7 data + 6 power pins) used on slim optical and compact drives, narrower than the standard 22-pin plug.
