RG174 BNC to BNC Coaxial Cable

$14.00 – $23.00 / pc · MOQ 500 pcs

An RG174 BNC male to BNC male coaxial cable: brass shield and solder contacts, DC to 11 GHz, for CCTV, AV and instrument leads.

SKU: CTC296 Category:

An RG174 BNC-to-BNC cable with a male plug at each end. RG174 is the thin, flexible coax: it is the cable to choose where the lead has to bend tightly, run behind a panel or thread through a small gap, and where a heavier coax such as RG59 would be too stiff.

The trade is attenuation — a thin cable loses more signal per metre than a thick one — so RG174 suits short patch and instrument leads rather than long distribution runs. The BNC plugs lock with a quarter turn and the brass shield keeps the line clean.

One point to confirm: RG174 is normally a 50 Ohm cable, while the item name quotes 75 Ohm. If your system is 75 Ohm, use a 75 Ohm coax such as RG59 or RG6; if it is a 50 Ohm application, RG174 is the right cable and we will supply it as such. Tell us the system impedance so the match is right.

Typical applications

  • Short instrument and test leads
  • Tight-space CCTV and AV patch cables
  • Bench and field-test connections
