- Description
An internal SATA data cable with a 90-degree connector at one end, so the lead leaves a drive or motherboard header sideways instead of sticking out into the airflow. That turn is what makes the difference in a cramped bay, a slim chassis or a build where a straight plug will not clear the side panel.
It carries the SATA signal at 3 Gbps, uses simple user-friendly connectors, and has auto-releasing latches that hold the plug firm but let go before either the header or the cable is damaged if someone trips over it. Hot-plugging is supported.
